We are collecting unique poignant, meaningful, and entertaining true stories for a collection on animals. Send your best writing about your pet or an animal that has touched your life.

We are interested in non-exclusive rights, in all languages, throughout the world. Our use of the material does not restrict the authors' rights in any way to have their stories reprinted elsewhere.

Guidelines

1. Submissions must be made via email. Please include author's real name, optional pseudonym, title of work and number of words on the first page of the submitted work.
2. Submissions must be sent to [         ]. The length should be whatever it takes without being self-indulgent-anything from a paragraph to fifteen pages. Your submission may be edited for space constraints or to conform to standard written English at the discretion of the editor in charge of the publication. The author's name will always appear with the work being published. If you do not wish your name to appear with your work, or wish to go by a pseudonym instead, please indicate this in writing with your submission.
3. Stories must not have been previously published in print or in an e-zine.
4. A release form is required for each contributor, with a listing of each piece submitted. If we do not have a release form, we will not be able to use the work. A sample release form may be found below.
5. If your work contains copyrighted characters that are not yours, written permission to use those characters or likeness must be obtained by the artist, and submitted with the release form. We cannot use any works without this additional release, and are unable to procure the releases for the artist.
